Ecology and Evolution of Infection and Disease Journal Club

Weekly meeting to discuss topical papers about ecology and evolution of infectious diseases, drawn from both new and older literature. The topics could include:

  • Pathogen/parasite and/or host evolution, immunity, virulence
  • Pathogen/parasite transmission, behavioral manipulation
  • Community level interactions impacting pathogens/diseases
  • Spatial disease ecology
  • Epizootiology/epiphytology, population genetics
  • Emerging diseases
  • Impact of climate change, extinction/extirpation on pathogens/parasites/diseases

Attendance and participation are open to anyone who is interested.

The EEID Journal Club meets in 2124 Comstock Hall on Thursday mornings from 9:05 – 9:55.

To receive each week’s paper by email, subscribe to the CIHMID email list.
