Ecology and Evolution of Infectious Disease (EEID) Journal Club

This week, Courtney Murdock will present, “Phenotypic adaptation to temperature in the mosquito vector, Aedes aegypti” Weekly meeting to discuss topical papers about ecology and evolution of infectious diseases, drawn from both new and older literature. The topics could include:

• Pathogen/parasite and/or host evolution, immunity, virulence
• Pathogen/parasite transmission, behavioral manipulation
• Community level interactions impacting pathogens/diseases
• Spatial disease ecology
• Epizootiology/epiphytology, population genetics
• Emerging diseases
• Impact of climate change, extinction/extirpation on pathogens/parasites/diseases
